BASIC FUSING & SLUMPING FOR BEGINNERS

Our fusing and slumping classes have a minimum of 2 students and maximum of 5 students. At SSG we prefer smaller fusing classes so that each student receives individual attention.

 OUR STUDENTS QUALITY OF INSTRUCTION IS CONSIDERED FIRST

Create a two or three dimensional art glass project. Detailed beginner class including hands on and lecture in the techniques of fusing and slumping art glass. Learn simple to intricate cutting techniques, how to prepare and measure the molds in preparation for the glass; how to decorate and layer the glass to form vases, plates, bowls, a sculptural piece or wall art. The do's and don'ts of preparing your kiln and firing your project plus firing schedules. Tutorial, glass and 2 firings included.
