Kumihimo is a Japanese braiding technique that is done by knotting cords together to create textured weaves. The finished product gives you a fabulous necklace to hold dichroic pendants and embellishments.
In this 2 hour class you will learn the basics of 8 strand braiding, starting and completing a braid - PLUS you will also learn how to add embellishments and beads to your braid.
Bring your own supplies or purchase supply kit for $12.50 from teacher at time of class. Supply kit includes: Kumihimo disk, 8 bobbins and rattail or c-lon cording.
Teacher will provide a take home tutorial sheet.
