We begin children’s classes as young as 4 years old. The classes include working with frit (granulated glass) and are closely supervised. Young children create with pre-fired glass so there are no sharp edges. SSG encourages nursery school and kindergarten teachers, as well as parents to assist their child when students are a very young age.
Did you know that Sarasota School of Glass is the ONLYglass school on the west coast of Florida that has young children’s classes. Students 8 years of age and older can choose from our Fused Combo classes and be included in our Adult classes.
