Students will first choose their project such as a vase, platter, bowl, etc. Starting with a clear sheet of precut glass, you will add your colors and design to transform the clear glass into a vibrant, colorful piece of art glass. Working with powders and glue, learn to control the flow of the design to produce a pleasing effect. Your designed art glass will be fused and then slumped into the project of your choice. Included in this class are detailed instructions, glass, powders, glue, and 2 firings.

Using repurposed glass lay out your pattern in a pleasing design using your color palette of random shaped pieces of glass. Mirror can be placed in the middle of the glass, off to the side or cut into strips. To further enhance your design, add noodles, stringers, pebbles, frit, and confetti.

You can also add personal design elements that you can bring to class including beads, photos or memorabilia enhancing your design after fusing. These can be adhered to the glass to create a piece reflecting your personality.
